THE STORY

The Play tent was created by Beth and Victoria, two early years educators with a passion for play.

 

"We both have extensive experience planning, creating and delivering learning experiences for children and families. We wanted to use our specialist Early years experience to create magical spaces beyond educational settings to offer invitations to play for the whole family. This desire sparked the first pitch up of 'the PLAY tent'. 

 

Our practice is heavily influenced by the preschools of Reggio Emilia. We focus on creating really beautiful, inspiring play and art provocations, with emphasis on the quality of the environments we create.  We want to welcome children into new and exciting cultural spaces and offer them high quality, open ended resources to explore at their own pace, respecting their agency and chosen methods of self expression."
